Forget Ourselves

Most of the magic
happens in rehearsal,
in the garage,
when no one is looking.But, sometimes on stage,
when we know they love us,
or are buzzed enough
not to care-
we forget ourselves.
Magic can happen then too- it can.We've known for some time
that this is the way it works
and we have reliable methods
for obtaining buzz,
but the magic is still elusive.It just happens often enough,
