I Need a Catastrophe

Beginnings are the most exciting,
so I always fancy scrapping it all
and starting over.
But I don't
because beginnings need finishings
and I'm never finished.
Still, if the right catastrophe came along
I would abandon this comfortable,
semi-successful
and shapely rut
