Montana

This is the land of big houses
and big trucks.
Built large because there is room,
and no sense in building small
when the sky and mountains
will dwarf your efforts anyway,
and travellers are few.

Massive walls and a high ceiling
are just a little comfort
against the wind and intimidating backdrop,
big tires against the rocks and snow.
