Obvious Secret Knowledge

The ancient Egyptians had secret knowledge
and so did the Mayans
and the Aztecs
and so does my Grandpa.

And when he dies
he will take most of it with him
because he doesn't know it's secret.

Who takes care to pass on the obvious
to his descendants?
