The Next Now

To live completely in the Now
is a trick that only God has down.
But I live each moment with a hope
that the next one will be better than now.

And sometimes, it is.
And sometimes, it is not.
But someday, I will live completely in the Now, too-
and I hope it will be better
than any now I've ever had.
