Yon Mountains

Weather like this makes me want to go hiking
Into yon mountains
Among gray rocks bigger than houses
And look for trolls.

I know they’ve been here
And elves and fairies too
Though, they have been harder to find
Since the forest service put in all these roads and trails
and began giving parking tickets.
